Tuesday morning was overcast, and with just the right amount of shade it was a perfect outside morning. We packed up a picnic and headed to the splash park with some friends. The kids built a balance beam/bridge over the run-off ravine, splashed, played on the playground, ate lunch and splashed some more. The weather was perfect, and we were able to stay out until about 1 p.m. That's when the shade was no longer a relief and the heat got the best of us. It was a great morning, though! (Punky didn't like wearing her rash guard unless she was in the water, hence the topless toddler running around. Love this age!!)

Upon closer inspection of her lunchbox, Punky found the cookies and chips in the bottom compartment! :)

I'm not sure what they're doing here, but Sunshine and Belle were locked like this for quite some time. Some sort of strategic planning between sisters, I'm sure. ;)
