Diggin' up bones...and other stuff!

What a beautiful fall day we're having!  It couldn't have been more perfect weather for the annual Archaeology Fair.  I made a reservation for Sunshine and Belle to participate in the excavation program this morning, but we also couldn't wait to make our way through the other activities.  It was our first time to participate and we had a blast!

The event was primarily sponsored by a company called Geo-Marine and their employees guided the kids through the excavation.  It was interesting to discuss archaeology with these experts, especially hearing about their recent projects.  I was also taking notes as our designated archaeologist talked about different day trips and websites that might be of interest to our kiddos.  I can't wait to do more exploring!
