Forgive my tardiness. We're having our house painted right now and my computer has been hidden under plastic wrap. This post was ready on Fat Tuesday, but I forgot that pesky "publish" button up top. :)
It's Fat Tuesday! Today our homeschool group had a parade and party. My kids were so excited! We spent a brief time yesterday discussing what Mardi Gras is, and why it's celebrated with parades and gluttonous parties. Finding PG rated info on the interwebs proved a challenge. However, we are thankful for inspiration to learn about the history and culture of this great celebration!
The girls decorated our red wagon, which became our parade float. Punky was its lone rider, and Belle pulled her around the circle. Sunshine was among the spectators.
